Wtd: Laptop charger - new.

I bought a charger off a well know site (not the 'bay!), only for it to blow up and almost frazzle my laptop.

I contacted the seller who stated that i had purchased the wrong one and now refuses to help (even though in his title it stated it was the one i needed!!)

Anyway, he has 'kindly' come back saying this is the one i need:

Mesh MSI-670

Output Current: 4.7A
Output Voltage: DC19V
Power: 90W
Pin 5.5 x 2.5

I really know feck all about chargers and so, can anyone help me purchase one new?

A lot of chargers sold on ebay and other sites are cheap "copies" made in China and so on.

There was program on a few weeks ago about cheap chargers and other electronic goods made in the far east.

They told the story of a teenager who went on holiday with his Nintendo DS and forgot his charger.

He bought one locally that said it was a genuine Nintendo charger.

But it wasn't and when he tried to use it it killed him with an electric shock.

So it does pay to buy the "official" charger rather than cheap copies.

this is the one they say will fit my lappy. Out of the ones you have listed, which one would you go for?

(thanks for your help!)
