WTD - Surround Sound for my new Sony 40"

I got the Sony 40" from John Lewis for £400 grea, fantastic price, great TV, but speakers aren't so fancy.

Can anyone recommend surround sound system at a similar great price (was hoping for £100 as spent most of cash on the TV)?

I'm not too bothered about Blu-Ray, though USB, DIVX - XVID would be welcome.
My house is a mid sized terrace so doesn't have to be super powerfull.
Would also rather one that is stylish and slim.

Thanks in advance

If i'm being completely honest, I think you need to spend more than £100 on a surround sound setup. Seems strange to me to spend £400 on a nice screen and then scrimp on the sound. My setup is about 50/50 cost wise between screen/sound which is still a fairly budget setup.

I'd wait and save up for something a little better.

I'm sure there will be people who say they got a great 5.1 set from asda for £50 etc but they aren't comparing it side by side to a 'proper' setup. Which imo is worth paying extra for.

I was thinking something like this

Sony DAVDZ330 5.1 ch DVD Home Cinema System with Music/Movie Playback via USB
£130

Would have good sound for a small lounge?
