Think someone has posted a deal for a premium 360 and some games on the hot deals section

If you don't plan do do any online gaming on the xbox 360 then the core version will be fine for you but if you plan to do online gaming and download demo's and content from xbox marketplace then you are better off going for the premium version as it contains the harddrive and headset

I might play games online but im not interested in demos etc...

What stuff is available 'online' for it?
#3
At the moment theres online gaming, music, game trailers, movie trailers and game demos. Coming soon theres MSN messenger support and IPTV

I'd seriously consider a Premium, even if you have to save a bit longer. The bundles around make it a no-brainer
A Core can be had with Viva Pinatta, Fusion Frenzy 2 and a Memory Card for around £200. Spend an extra £100 on a Premium bundle and you get 3 or 4 more popular games, the 20GB HDD, HD AV cable and a Wireless Controller (in place of a Wired one).

So its worth spending abut £300 and get a few games and the hard drive with it?

Any decent deals around for that then?

Here is a deal that someone posted, just follow the link

I think this is the best deal around at the moment: http://www.choicesuk.com/Product.aspx/!827473

Premium
Gears Of War
Crackdown
Project Gotham Racing 3
Xbox Live Arcade: Unplugged
Extra Official Wireless Pad

I would recommend you get the Premium. I got bought the premium for christmas and my brother got the core. The premium is much better in my opinion because you'll be saving money in the long term and you get a nice chrome fronted dvd drive which you dont get for the core.

call of duty 2 on Live is absolutely brilliant, get the premium and you wont look back mate

But the core does allow you to build your console into a premium at your own pace, keep in mind that the xbox 360 elite comes out soon so the hard drives are expected to drop in price... therefore it may be worth getting a core and waiting for the hard drive.
Oh and i only have a memory card for mine and thats fine for online gaming and saving games, you just can't donwload extra content like free levels and stuff.
So its 6 and 2 threes really.
