I am looking to buy one used or new for under £70

I know on play.com they are £79.99 delivered. Is that the best price online?

I was looking for the same thing a few weeks back. I ended up on Ebay. Got a second hand one for £50 + postage so not a bad deal...Thankfully it works perfectly and am very happy. The cheapest ones are when people will only allow pickup as it is reasonably heavy. If you happen to be close by then you have a bargain..Good luck

Also I think Play.com are about the cheapest oline.

If you're not in any hurry I would wait a couple of months. It is likely that when Forza motorsport is released in a month or so there will be a Forza bundle released rather than the dated PGR3 bundle....

Actually HMV is £5 cheaper if you use the code below
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deal/12978/code-for-5-off-a-35-spend-hmv

This code is only valid until 31/3/07

If you go through quidco as well you'll save some money.

or look at this thread for some other alternatives

I have been regularly reading a few forums about this and the general concensus is that M$ won't immediately release forza2 with the wheel. The will get more money if it is sold separately.

some good tips, the cheapest online i have found is amazon used for £70 not sure how much p&p is for that.

None on ebay seem to be close to me. I was ready to buy one last night(ebay) it was £60 incl test drive and pgr3, but I needed to confirm postage price before I could bid and meanwhile someone else nabbed it!

So I will keep looking, £50 on ebay was a bargain Fuzzy.

If you read the xbox forums many appear to have problems with the wheel being off-centre. At least if its new you can send it back so I'd rather pay an extra tenner for a new one.

It may be a while before a forza/wheel bundle appears but from reading some of the forums, forza and the wheel have been developed to take full advantage of each other rather than an adaptation of the existing PGR.

I'll probably buy a wheel from Virgin but wait until the Forza bundle is released......

thanks but the reviews for that wheel have not been nearly as good as the MS force feedback wheel.

If you are anywhere near Ramsgate in Kent then have a look at this one on Ebay...£40 but pickup only....The woman selling it doesn't seem to know how much she could be selling it for...It's second hand but at least you could have a face to talk to if there are any problems!

Not the sharpest tool in the box then....Stick it in the box take it to the post office and pay the person behind the counter....Doesn't sound difficult or am I missing something?

lol, i know but i did think it may just be she didn't want to post large item, rather than not knowing how.
So i said if she figures it out i am still interested : )

Besides it is a good price, and if someone around that area sees it i am sure they will pick it up and save her the hassle.

If wireless is not essential then gameseek do this for £44.99 with pedals

Its not really the wireless but the forcefeedback that is essential. It has had good reviews and it is being optimized for forza 2!

Plus FF only works when it is plugged in so it is not really wireless

Good price if that is the wheel you want though, thanks

I too am looking for a good deal on the Official Wireless Steering Wheel.

I remember reading ages ago that LXDirect were doing it for a great price with some voucher codes, don't know if that's still going though.

I ended up going for a bundle, off of ebay which came with games, wheel, console and extras. The plan is to sell everything that i dont want, back and keep the wheel. Just after I finish playing the games hehe.

My experience with it so far has been a lot of fun! Dont go for a cheaper non force feedback wheel, its great.

Can I bring this up again for the official steering wheel thanks.
