Hey, im looking to buy an xbox 360(premium), xbox live and battlefield 2. I only have £305 :| but could probably borrow some money but want as close to £305 as possible.

I had a 20% promo code for www.johnlewis.com so it would have came to £223.20 for the xbox 360 but they are sold out and i think the promotional codes change every month  not sure about that though.

If anyone can help me at all i would be really greatful.

Incase the promo codes dont change every month heres the code for anyone interested: disc2

The john lewis code is finished, but it was the cheapest offer for an xbox premium I have ever seen. If you are in no major rush, you could wait and check the forums every day, as someone usually spots a new offer when it appears.

EDIT - welcome to the forum by the way!

Ok, ill just have to try and be patient :p

o and also there was a 20% deal for asda in the news of the world last sunday and the sun last saturday, which would make it £223. Im phoning everyone up atm asking for there old newspapers :D

Hmmm noone seems to have the newspapers :( Does anyone know if you can use HMV promotional codes and HMV student discounts together?
#4
The HMV student discount does not apply for consoles anyway... I believe.

john lewis code for £20 off works. £260 for a premium

Gamestation (store only?) are doing the premium console + 1 game for 279.

You could pick up COD2 (brilliant game) which is equivalent to £40 with it, so the console is then only £239.

You can only pick from a list of 4 games I belive, COD2 being the best of the bunch. Others I think are king kong, blazing squadrons and amped3(could be wrong on this one).

PC world have a games console sale on from 4pm this afternoon so I would have a look and see what they have to offer

Hi there people. First post for me, I'm usually a lurker on these forums :P Found lots of great stuff, so thanks to everyone working so hard for the benefit of everyone.
Anyway here's the good stuff:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300014262580
XBOX 360 premium + 3 games @ £209.98
Only a few left though so hurry!

I Ordered the xbox 360 premium pack on friday using the 10% student discount (Make sure you sign in first and then add it to basket). This made it £247.49  . Also. i forgot to :x , but you can get 6% cashback from quidco.

stick an enquiry in....you never know, might work ! or cancel the xbox it might not have been dispatched yet...its worth it for £15ish quid

Well that ebay thing did turn out too good to be true, but I think I've finally found a decent deal (which is still going):
Using the D5JW discount code (http://hotukdeals.com/deal/844/20-off-at-marshall-ward), you can get 20% off the Xbox 360 premium:
http://www.marshallward.co.uk/MWNet/shop/Mward/-c22118-kAW2006-n914-y10-p263055/-Microsoft-Xbox-360-Fully-Loaded-Console-/product.aspx
The total isn't updated when you put the discount code in, but I'm told that the order confirmation should show that. There's a £3.50 delivery charge, making the grand total £227.50.
The catch is, on the website it says that they're delivered within 3 weeks... Just placed an order now, and I'll keep you updated on how it goes.

Got an email back saying that they could not complete the transaction. :( :x :( Nevermind. Anyone find any good deals apart from freemans. I need one this week!!

The Cheapest i can find it for so far is £263.14 Delivered from Currys using 5% Off (YAW271) and the free delivery code (PRFREEDEL). There must be a better deal
#16
I'm after the full premium pack xbox 360.

Any help much appreciated.

I guess you can't get student discount on hmv site?

the best i can find now is from john lewis for £259 Delivered. this is using the £20 off voucher (1234564motherandb) at checkout

Forgot to add... for about £6 you can get next day delivery if you can't wait the 3 to 5 days!!!

Also don't forget quidco (Up to 6%)

don't know whether to get a package deal.

Might wait til fifa 07 comes out or pro evolution and get a package with a new release in.

I know i'm getting one :)

My mate has 1 there class

Yeah i know. been playing on a mates too, but wan't one this week!! i could have got one last week for £227, but couldn't afford it. as soon as i had the money the offer finished!! typical!! i'll keep looking and add any cheaper deals. The worst thing is i've already bought some games and a second controller!!
#20
thanks chris :)

Much Appreciated, i'm missing playing fifa road to world cup.

The graphics look class.

Not sure whether to get it from argos and pay over 6 months.

Would rather get a better deal with some games tho.

I went for the John Lewis deal in the end - couldn't wait any longer. arrives tomorrow!! ive alreagy got road to world cup, call of duty 2 and a load of demos so i can't wait!!

Hope you find the deal your after. i woud be carefull paying over 6 months - the interest will be a lot.

saying that. if you buy from greatuniversal you pay a little more for the product (£329), but you can pay it off over 6 or 12 months interest free which might work out cheaper than the added interest from other companies.

 hope that helps.

Chris
