Shouldn't need more than 1tb but for the right price may go a bit higher.

Tool it for granted that 500gb would be plenty as I've been more than fine with 500gb on ps4.

Thanks for the input. Any dangers, as such, of 2nd hand hard drives? Cex seems to have a decent range of 2tb ones for £50

I personally wouldn't go second hand. I'm sure they are fine but its not worth the hassle of it failing. Would prefer a new drive. I would also recommend a 2TB drive as they really do fill up fast. Ive got a 500GB Xbox with a 1TB external and its filled up so quickly with EA access and games with gold and the odd decent download deal.

Hi iceman22 you need any external USB 3.0 HDD with at least 256GB capacity, the more storage you need the more expensive, you can get 1TB for around £40 now but i would shop about to get the best prices

Thanks for help people. I'm gonna assume they come with the required cable to hook it up the xbox?
