By Greek standards it is a really nice hotel and has a good reputation. Haven't stayed there ourselves but walked past it on a good few occasions and looks really nice. Close to the beach and the resort centre of Laganas (perhaps not the best place in height of season due to large number of drunken holidaymakers but not so bad in June).

We usually stay in Kalamaki which is only a mile or 2 along the road (quieter resort and more family orientated). If we want more nightlife just walk the mile or 2 to Laganas and get a taxi back or vice versa. You can walk along the beach from Kalamaki to Laganas and beyond.

Don't know if you have booked yet but if you are booking flights and hotels seperately and then looking to pay extra for transfers to and from the airport, don't bother paying over the odds for a coach transfer - a taxi takes about 5 minutes and costs about 12 euros and always plenty available just outside the main terminal. If you get a coach you might find you are the last to get dropped off and could take about 2 hours after collecting luggage. Much less hassle and cheaper to get your own taxi after collecting your luggage. You can be on your 3rd pint of Mythos (or whatever your preference) before the other holidaymakers even arrive at the hotel.

Have a great time.

Kalamaki is great. Been there lots of times. Last time I went was 2008 though and there were a number of bars closing down and whole place felt a bit run down. Still a beautiful beachbthough and highly reccomed Stani's restaurant; best Greek restaurant I have ever been to.

Thanks for the time taken to reply. We are late fourties so not after night life.
Just relaxing by the pool and on the beach. x
