The 854 at Costco is a little more, but the processing has been improved and you get their 5yr warranty

Should also add: if you buy a smart TV for the “smart” stuff, you’re a marketing mug. You buy it for the TV and then you buy a FireTV Stick because that will still receive updates after 12 months, unlike your TV’s apps which will slowly stop working.

They probably won't match price after voucher code

They do match after voucher code. But I don’t think they’ll match this because the warranty needs to be the same amount of years that richer sounds offer (6 years)

seems an awesome picture with ambilight and decent sound. The software is Philips own, it doesn't run on android but I will use a firestick anyway.

I've ordered one at this price this morning.

I did and it isn't good at all. Needs to be no more that 20-30cm from a wall all the way round to work properly.

why was the 7304 awful? I have a 7383 and no complaints.

Very dull image, android 9 implementation on the Philips was poor and seemed like there was almost a daily firmware update that would fix something and make something else worse like sound, app response etc. It was not a 4K HDR TV at all and the upscaling was awful. I think peak brightness is about 200-300 nits which can't really show HDR at all. The ambilight was a nice feature though. I also believe the Philips LED LCDs use the 1st generation P5: processor. I sent it back after a less than 2 weeks. Ended up spending, a bit more and got a Samsung Q90R and I couldn't be happier. Lovely bright super crisp image with excellent OS, app support and sound. I would consider a Philips OLED and for the price this seems great but a 2 year guarantee bothers me.

Very unlikely they will price match as the warranty is different. I bumped into this issue when purchasing another Philips TV when trying to price match. Worth a shot though

I Had a 7304 for a couple of weeks which was awful but the Philips OLEDs get pretty good reviews. The ambilight was pretty good. If I am right hasn't the 754 got a 2018 OLED panel. LG panels, quality wise they on par with LG b and c series.

We have our 55 inch in a corner, albeit not a oled version, and have no complaints, no doubt the effect would work better if it was flat on a wall, but we find it works OK in a corner, although having said that if i could work out how to rearrange our lounge to get it flat on a wall I probably would to get the full effect

I've the 854 so things might be slightly different on the non-android software, but you can use google assistant from the remote, and there's a built in app to pair it with amazon alexa to control it from your alexa devices. I'm unsure if you can use the TV to control other things via alexa (edited)
