Affordable mobile cashback Redemption help

Posted 20th Feb 2021
Hi, can anyone please help me with this, my first ever redemption deal, never done it in my life, I thought its going to be easy just send your screen shot of monthly bill online or something, but looks very complicated and seems like I had to post the bill 5 times in 18 months, and don't even say which month I'm doing that, I didn't open my sim yet think to send it back, can anyone tell me if it can be done any other way?

Do I need to claim my Guaranteed Cashback?

How do I claim my Cashback by Redemption?
As part of our commitment to keeping our customers and staff safe during the coronavirus outbreak, we’re allowing you to submit cashback claims via email, rather than post.

To submit a claim, follow these simple steps:
    • Start an email quoting your name, order number and the voucher number that corresponds to your claim – you can find your voucher number on the cashback claim form you received with your mobile phone.
    • Attach a PDF copy of the relevant airtime bills to your email, detailed below. Note that screenshots of your bill can’t be processed – please download and attach a full PDF copy of your bill.
    • With your order details quoted and relevant airtime bill now attached, please send your email to us at cashback@affordablemobiles.co.uk.Claims submitted by post will still be accepted. However, we strongly recommend that you submit claims via email, wherever possible, to help minimise risks around the spread of coronavirus.

I can’t remember all the details but I remember that all the instructions were clear on the website and stated exactly which months you had to send stuff off. I never had any problem receiving payments.

Affordable is indeed the worst. Fonehouse is the easiest - upload one bill, get the money directly into your bank account in a few days. Mobiles UK is also relatively easy as they tell you exactly which bill needs to be uploaded for your specific contract, and not just the generic instructions. But they send a cheque, takes around 3 weeks.

Easy really just set reminders in your phone.
You just email them first 4 bills and quote the 1st voucher number.
Then next 4 bills and so on as in the instructions below for 18 month plan.

i have had a couple of redemption deals. they are fine but you have to set up a calendar alert to send in the phone bill. not too much hassle really.

i know they payout. but its just another job/thing to do. in my eyes. id much rather just pay and forget. i did look at them on affordable mobiles and there are so cracking deals. its a personal thing i'm not knocking the deal..

Affordable mobiles is the worst cashback company in a while and I've been claiming redemption cashbacks since 3 were giving away there first video phones.

You have to send a copy of every bill and by post too?!!

Emails pdfs accepted but this may change post pandemic but I'm sure they'll let you know if this does happen.

Anyway... So you have to send your first claim at month 4.
Month 1 is the first month you receive any bill from Vodafone(even if month 1is for a part month)
So assuming you order in February and your first bill is dated on any day in February then when you receive your May bill you need to send in all four bills including the May bill. This needs to be done within 60 days of the May bill.
You can work out all the remaining claims from thereon.
It's the first month that is usually confusing and open to interpretation unless they clarify what is classed as month 1 (which they have) (edited)

Anyone having any issues in 2022 - usually my claims are accepted within 24 hours, but currently waiting, maybe they're just slow down to staffing and Covid etc, so am not massively concerned yet, but wondered if anyone claimed recently and had theirs at least confirmed (I know the cheques take a while longer).
