I’m in the same position can’t believe after 14 months my ninja foodi stopped working
Ninja said they can’t do anything I would have to buy a new appliance but they will give 50% off . So annoyed ! As I spent £300 on it …not feeling confident to spend that again on a product that will only last a little over a year !

Contact ninja and say your not happy and are dissapointed with your product failing just after the warranty and its not what you would expect from a big name brand and is there anything they can do out of good will, ive had some luck in the past with big brands

I've done that in the past. Be polite, explain your disappointment and hopefully they might be able to do something for you.

Make a YouTube video about it breaking. Express your disgust. See if Ninja reply.

Sorry to hear about your fryer woes. Ther short guarantee on these things puts me off the expensive ones.

Yes, have checked the fuse and i took it out and put it in the kettle plug and it works. So its not the fuse.. would've been an easy fix..

Downside with the repair option is it’ll cost half as much as a new one

Also applicable to OP @Beetlejuicebj : if purchased from a UK-based trader, just tell the trader it's busted and invite the trader to discharge its consumer obligations which apply for 6 years after receipt, unless you live in Scotland.
Respected consumer advice organisation "Which" has a standard template letter to send to the trader (and/or credit provider if the item cost over £100 & direct payment etc):

When my old Tefal Actifry lid cracked after about 4 years i dropped them an email, they sent a free replacement. If Ninja is a decent company they should sort this out.

Problem is IME they're not a decent company.

Mybair fryer has just done the same. The fuse keeps blowing and its about 15 months old. Not a clue who could fix it.

Mine says slide and only allows air fryer/hob. Then says shut lid when it's closed.

Is there no insurance policys cover gadgets like this
