In the heart of the sun-blessed Ötztal, at the centre of an Eldorado of winter sports and summer activities, lies an oasis of pleasure the Central Spa Hotel. It is a top address for sports enthusiasts, for those in search of relaxation and for people who crave an open and informal atmosphere but who also appreciate luxury and culinary delights. As soon as they enter the hotel they will be enchanted by its unique flair and immediately feel totally at home.

When fitting out the 100 rooms and 18 suites, individuality was the watchword. They are furnished in the most varied styles, but always with great taste and a love of detail. So you can choose between elegant Provencal and English country house style, modern design or rustic Tyrolean ambience. New from summer 2005 are the Surprise junior suites and two penthouse luxury suites. All these suites have breathtaking views to the south over the Nederkogl and have the finest interior fittings. For their furnishings, materials from Etro, Nobilis, Lizzo and others were used, as well as various noble timbers such as European walnut, hand-planed oak, matured ancient timber and bamboo. In selected suites there are refinements like open fires, glass bath tubs and bamboo floors. Even the dimensions are 5-star: up to three metre high bed canopies (some including coloured light therapy) or five metre high living rooms give more than enough space for the finest living. Warm colours, parquet floors, flat-screen TVs or marble baths are just a few of the other exclusive ingredients of a stylish holiday in the Central Spa Hotel.

Culinary masterpieces:
The cuisine of the Central Spa Hotel is renowned well beyond the countrys borders for its culinary masterpieces, created by 2-toque chef Gottfried Prantl. Every evening he and his brigade will tickle your taste buds! Guests enjoy the finest unadulterated tastes from around the world, which Gault Millau has given its highest award, the Toque d`Honneur.

All that is enhanced by quality wines from the very best regions. These noble drops have been personally selected by the hotels sommelier Martin Sperdin, and stored in a cellar which also provides the ideal setting for evening wine tastings.

Wellness and Beauty:
Relaxation is an art in the Central Spa Hotel, by the crackling open fire in the hotel lobby or in the fabulous Venezia water world, laid out over three floors in the style of the lagoon city of Venice. A wide selection of enlivening saunas and relaxing steam baths, whirlpools and flower petal baths, revitalising massage and mountain water showers and much more give you such a wonderful feeling after a day in the clear mountain air.

The Central Spa Hotel offers a wide range of innovative beauty and wellness applications based on Indian, oriental and Shaman healing traditions. The hotel is a place for regeneration and an oasis of beauty and harmony. Asian relaxation techniques, various figure and stamina programmes and the new fitness centre round of what is on offer both for body and for soul.

For our smaller hotel guests there is the hotels own Ötzi Club, where children are perfectly looked after.

In addition to a fantastic holiday setting, the Central Spa Hotel also offers the ideal surroundings in which to hold workshops and conferences. The Hotel has a modern seminar area with flexible modular conference rooms available.
