To celebrate the launch of its new edition, Larousse Gastronomique has teamed up with iconic cookware brand Le Creuset to offer two lucky winners a prize package that will be a real treat for foodies, consisting of a copy of Larousse Gastronomique (RRP £60) and a gorgeous Cast Iron Oval Roasting Pot (RRP £99). Three runners-up will win a copy of Larousse Gastronomique.

Larousse Gastronomique is considered to be one of the greatest cookery books ever published, covering every aspect of cookery, from history and tradition, to techniques and recipes. This autumn sees the publication of a landmark new edition, updated to cover the latest developments in the culinary world. It boasts a metallic copper finish, stunning new photography and a chic black slipcase, making it an object to treasure.

Based on a traditional Le Creuset casserole design from the 1940s, the Roasting Pot is one of only a thousand produced for the UK. It is ideal for one-pot roasting in the oven, but can also be used on the hob for making gravy and browning meats.
