We have 5 copies of A Shadow Falls (worth £29.99 each) to give away, courtesy of Abrams Books

Photographer Nick Brandt has made it his mission to portray the last survivors of what were once vast populations of large mammals in East and Southern Africa. Brandt photographs lions, cheetahs, gorillas, zebras and elephants with the same empathy that other artists reserve for human subjects. He uses none of the apparatus of the wildlife photographer; rather, nature itself is his art studio. A Shadow Falls reproduces 58 exclusive images in stunning, oversized tri-tone plates. A text by Brandt about the fate of Africas large animals is complemented with an introduction by philosopher Peter Singer and an essay by distinguished photography critic Vicki Goldberg.
Entry to this prize draw is free. The first 5 names drawn after the closing date - 13 September 2009 - will each win a copy of A Shadow Falls worth £29.99 each.
