A three-night stay for two at the Scarlet eco-hotel, in Cornwall
he winner and a guest will stay for three nights, on a B&B basis, at the Scarlet, a new luxury eco-hotel overlooking the beach at Mawgan Porth, on Cornwalls north coast a short drive from Watergate Bay, Bedruthan Steps and Padstow. The Scarlet opened last August with a design incorporating sharp modern lines, richly textured materials and dramatic views. Outside, it has log-fired sea-view hot tubs and a chemical-free pool, filtered by reeds. Inside, theres an Ayurveda spa, a pool, a hammam and a deep-relaxation space. The prize also includes one dinner for two in the restaurant. The head chef, Ben Tunnicliffe, used to cook at the Abbey, in Penzance, where he won a Michelin star.
