QUESTION :- How many built-in 50W amplifiers does the Marantz M-CR502 feature?

ANSWER :- Two

Sometimes we get asked how we decide what goes into our Top 10 pages, and how we choose what order the products should lie in. Its simple, really: its about the performance-to-cost ratio the same ratio that defines most real-world purchases. And on that basis, we reckon the M-CR502 out-performs everything on the market.

First and foremost, Marantzs baby sounds brilliant, reproducing crisp and accurate but still weighty audio. There are twin 50W amplifiers, and the CD player is easily a match for many separates spinners. Itll make your CDs sing even if theyre ?-minimalist ambient techno.

The 502 can also handle CD-R/RWs and MP3 and WMA-encoded discs, and packs high-quality DAB, FM and AM tuners. A matching iPod dock is available, but you could just as easily use the fascia-mounted 3.5mm and USB sockets.

Of course, even the best stereo wont sound much cop unless its connected to some decent speakers. Marantzs optional LS-502s are the perfect match with plenty of drive, attack and excitement, and the gloss finish matches the top of the main unit. And the best bit? Well, thats
the fact that we have four M-CR502/LS-502 systems to give away, each worth £600.

Wouldn't be a bad idea if their website allowed me to register. I've tried 10 times now and it appears they are a waste of space.
