This month, thanks to our friends at Sky, we're giving you the chance to win Sky HD for a year and a Philips 37" LCD HD Ready Digital Television!

Because you want to feel closer to the action, HD (high definition) TV gives you a lifelike viewing experience, with sharper images, more vibrant colours and deeper detail.

Combine this with cinema-style surround sound on many programmes and you've got a more intense viewing experience than ever before.

I *think* the answer is Hot Fuzz. :-)

Doesn't it strike anyone as funny that VIRGIN who own their own media company are offering a prize for Sky HD??

Also they mention "our friends at Sky", are these the same friends that banned Virgin media from showing Sky One and Sky Two and Sky News because they wouldn't pay enough for them

Still it's a free competition so voted hot!!

Cheers, entered, and heat added...and yes, it does strike me as odd Virgin having a prize of Sky HD:?

Yeah, it does seem that way - although it's Virgin Radio and whilst it's owned by the same company I'm sure that they probably make all of their own decisions. :)

I'm not sure what the correct answer is... .. The sky pages don't appear to make it clear what's on HD - only the full list of movies they're showing is given... and a search only returns results from the next week or so.

Finally the phrase "currently available" is ambiguous at best. Now? Today? This week? This month? planned?

Are you 100% sure about that? For example:-

Casino Royale:
Showing times
Friday 25 January 12:00 Sky Movies HD2
Friday 25 January 20:00 Sky Movies HD2

That is Sky Movies HD2 and the comp does say "HD" but are they not just referring in general to HD movies?

Couldn't agree more. I am however still very grateful to the OP.

I used to listen to the COC breakfast show avidly until they sacked Christians co-presenter (Chris Smith) whilst he was off on paternity leave. The show is simply dire now and with behaviour like that I don't feel it warrants listening to.

Just out of interest (as it's been mentioned) - The reason for the Sky offer from Virgin is that a 12month sponsorship deal of the Virgin breakfast show was struck (replacing Orange) prior to Virgin taking over NTL.

I reckon its all of them.

Casino Royale and Happy feet are both on HD channels this month - the OP got the idea Hot Fuzz was also on HD channels from somewhere and the answers to these kind of questions tends to be ... all of the above.

rubbish question though & thanks to the OP
