Tickets to the BFI Gala Premiere of Fantastic Mr Fox
The British Film Institute (BFI) has long been the bastion of British film heritage and culture, and with the London Film Festival about to get underway the BFI have launched a range of 70 titles analyzing classic movies from Blade Runner to Lawrence Of Arabia. Hoping to inspire a deeper understanding of their cinematic counterparts, these books are a must for fans of cinema!
On Wednesday 14th October the BFI London Film Festival gets going, with a star-studded gala premiere of Fantastic Mr. Fox. Roald Dahl's classic kids' novel bounds onto the big screen courtesy of cult American director Wes Anderson (Rushmore), with A-list voice talent from George Clooney, Meryl Streep and Bill Murray alongside Anderson regulars Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman and Adrien Brody. Fantastic Mr. Fox tells the tale of the titular fox and the farmers who plot to take their sly, chicken-eating opponent out of the game. Filmed using stop-motion animation, everything about this comedy film suggests it will be, er, fantastic!
To celebrate the cinematic release of Fantastic Mr Fox, we've teamed up with the BFI to give one Play.com winner a pair of tickets to the gala premier at The Odeon in Leicester Square, London! This red carpet event is set to feature a swathe of stars in attendance for what promises to be the jewel in the crown of London Film Week 2009.
