If you fancy an early Christmas treat, it's your lucky day, as we're giving away a pair of tickets to the world's biggest darts tournament on 20 December.

The huge William Hill World Darts Championship kicks off next week and we're giving away a pair of tickets to the Ally Pally event - courtesy of viagogo.

The tournament gets underway on Saturday 18 December at London's Alexandra Palace - and you and a friend could be watching it live.

The William Hill World Championship will again feature 72 players from around the world, with 16 International Qualifiers competing in the preliminary round for the right to join the sport's top names in the first round proper.

The tournament will kick off with the preliminary and first rounds being held across six days ahead of the Christmas break, with the second round and third round taking place from December 27-30.

The World Championship resumes on New Year's Day with the first of two nights of quarter-final action, with the semi-finals on Saturday 3 January and the final taking place on Sunday 4 January.

Darts legend Phil Taylor still holds the record for most World Championships won, with 14 PDC wins under his belt, and 2 BDO.

However, in recent years Adrian Lewis has shown that he is a player to be taken seriously, with two consecutive wins since 2010 - who will win? Only time will tell.
