It is an SD memory card with a wifi adapter built in. As soon as it detects a known wireless network it will connect and upload your photos saving the time otherwise needed to connect the camera and transfer the photos.
Computeractive has teamed up with Sandisk to offer five lucky winners an Eye-Fi card each.
It looks just like an ordinary SDHC memory card and has space to save photos just like any other memory card.
The card itself is a Class 4 SDHC card so it won't keep you waiting around for photos to be saved and the 8GB model can store up to 4,000 photos. The wireless adapter uses the 802.11n standard for the fastest transfer speeds.
