New competation:

Elton John: the artist formally known as Reg Dwight, the Liberace of rock and roll, is celebrating his fifth decade in the music business with a definitive career spanning 'best of' titled Rocket Man which is to be released on the 26th of March. This collection spans his entire career featuring all the classic tunes composed with lyricist Bernie Taupin, including 'Your Song', 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road', 'Candle In The Wind', 'I¿m Still Standing' and 'Tiny Dancer' amongst many others. Of course, Elton John's music needs very little introduction, he has been a national treasure for many years now, known as much for his flamboyant showmanship and dress sense as for his music, and whose place in rock history is implacable.

To mark the release of 'Rocket Man: The Definitive Hits', we are offering one lucky winner and a friend the chance to see this musical legend in action, on stage, performing his new show, 'The Red Piano' in Paris on 29th May 2007! 'The Red Piano' is a collaboration between Elton John and renowned photographer and director David LaChappelle. It features stunning stage sets using state of the art effects and imagery to reflect the artist's flamboyance, conveying the theme of love as symbolised by the colour red, playing out to the soundtrack of Elton John's best loved work. Getting to the show will be no problem as the prize includes 2 return train tickets to Paris and hotel accommodation.

So if you fancy seeing Elton John in the city of love, performing his latest extravaganza fresh from its successful run in Las Vegas, simply answer the following question:

My wife would go nuts if we won this. She said some time ago that Elton is the one man she would leave me for. Kind of odd in many ways. Not least that she is only 27 and she told me some 8 years ago!! I hope its the money or I've quite possibly made a big mistake!!

Thanks for the post...
Thanks..I have entered.

I like some of his earlier hits
