Thank you very much Painkiller!
I am new to this, could in theory one person enter 39 times max using one mobile number and then enter again 39 times using another mobile number of is without breaking the competition rules ie by postcards?

In theory you could use 4 numbers.
You could make 37 entries via the first number (e.g. via post).
You could make 37 entries via the second number(e.g. via text).
You could make 37 entries via the third number(e.g. via phone call).
You could use the fourth number to make the 38th & 39th entries for the each of the 3 entry methods.

If they have the disposable income, there is nothing to stop someone entering via text using multiple mobile numbers more times than are permitted as ITV will only have the number associated with the entry and no information as to whether multiple mobile numbers belong to one individual.

It would be a huge waste of money though.

Thank you very much Painkiller for taking the time to reply to me explaining things thoroughly, I really appreciate it and also thank you for posting this fantastic competition. I just needed to know in case one day there is a bigger jackpot it might be worth entering extra entries, if not as you say it is a waste of money. Enjoy the festive season! Kind wishes!:p
