You’ll begin your cruise in Egypt, where you’ll board Thomson Celebration and sail to Jordan. There, you could take a trip through the Wadi Rum Valley. What may surprise you is that Bedouin tribes still live in this unforgiving wilderness in little clusters of goat-hair tents.
On day two, why not pay a visit to Petra? This ancient city is half as old as time. It was carved into the rock face more than 2,000 years ago and today it’s regarded as a wonder of the world. Day three is your chance to relax as we spend a day at sea travelling to Port Sokhna.
On day four, you’ll visit Cairo. Stand in the shadow of the Pyramids on the Giza Plateau. The Great Pyramid is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and is the only one to remain largely intact. Days six and seven are all about Luxor and Hurghada. Whether you opt for snorkelling and scuba diving, a spell on the beach or a trip to the Valley of the Kings, this part of the world will leave your camera packed with treasured moments and you with lasting memories.

Celebration’s ‘Red Sea Magic’ cruise on a full-board basis, followed by a seven-night stay at in a standard room at 5T Sensatori Sharm El Sheikh on an all inclusive basis. Departing 21, 28 March, 4 or 11 April 2013 from Gatwick or Manchester Airports according to availability at time of booking. Cabin and room type will be selected at the discretion of Thomson Cruises. Any further room or cabin upgrades, and any other supplements, are at the customer’s expense. Sensatori Sharm El Sheikh is an all inclusive hotel, this means meals and snacks are included, and you get locally produced drinks from 10am to midnight. You can also upgrade to international-brand drinks when you arrive for an extra charge. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant, while dinner is included in four of the six eateries, and lunch in two. Room service is also available at a charge.
The cruise holiday prize does not include pre-bookable cabin service, travel insurance, visas, personal expenses or spending money. Entrants must hold a valid passport and it is the entrant’s responsibility to check visa and passport requirements. Prior to departure, we advise the winner to purchase comprehensive travel insurance and have any relevant inoculations. The prize is not transferable; no cash alternative can be substituted for any prize and no alternatives will be offered.
