BlackBerry has kicked off the new year by going retro and launching the BlackBerry Classic.
The new phone has the look and feel of a classic BlackBerry smartphone, with a fantastic QWERTY keyboard, handy tool belt of navigational keys and a brilliant track pad. But on the inside, everything’s been updated.
The Classic runs BlackBerry’s latest software, BB10.3. So it comes with great tools like BlackBerry Blend, which lets you send everything that’s on your BlackBerry to your computer in real time so you don’t have to keep checking your phone, and BlackBerry Assistant, the voice controlled personal assistant.
It also comes with the Amazon Appstore as well as BlackBerry World, so you get all the apps made specifically for BlackBerry as well as more than 250,000 Android apps.

The promotion opens on 9th January 2015 and closes at midnight on 30th January 2015 (the “Closing Date”). Entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted by the Promoter.
Submission of entries will not constitute proof of receipt and no responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for entries that the Promoter does not receive. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or corruption of data in transit.
One prize will be awarded. The prize consists of one BlackBerry Classic smartphone.
The winner will be selected at random by an independent person from all eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by email by 14th February 2014 and the prize will be sent by first class recorded delivery to the winner’s home address. The Promoter will not be liable for any prize(s) that do not reach the winner for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
If the Promoter does not receive confirmation from a winner within a week that they accept the prize, the draw will be redrawn.
The Promoter may refuse or disqualify any entry (including winning entries) if the entrant concerned or anyone authorised by the entrant to deal with their entry, acts in a way towards the Promoter which the Promoter reasonably considers to be inappropriate, unlawful or offensive. If the winning entry is disqualified the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another entrant.
If the prize is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification. There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable and non-refundable.
The decision of the Promoter is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome of this promotion.
Each winner agrees to participate in any publicity or other such promotional activities which the Promoter may reasonably require in connection with the promotion and the Promoter shall have the right to use each winner’s name, likeness, image, voice and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the promotion in all media without further notice and without the need to make any payment to such a winner.
