a bottle of Lanson Cuvée Père et Fils Brut NV
To celebrate their recent outstanding success at the 2016 Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships, we've partnered up with Champagne Lanson to giveaway a bottle of Lanson Cuvée Père et Fils Brut NV, which was awarded Specialist Gold at the event.
Awarded Specialist Gold for Specialist Champagne, Champagne Lanson’s Cuvée Père et Fils was the only Champagne created especially for the on trade to win gold at the CSWWC. With entries from 26 countries, the CSWWC is the largest and toughest sparkling wine competition in the world.
An enriched evolution of the classic Lanson Black Label, Père et Fils Brut NV is named after the first bottle of Champagne Lanson produced. For this special cuvée, the House of Lanson has taken a unique selection of grapes and a blend of at least five different years, which is then aged for at least four years. This Champagne is fresh, rich and structured with rounded finesse and layers of complexity.
This year, The House of Lanson scooped an unprecedented total of four gold and two silver awards at the CSWWC 2016 for: Lanson Cuvée Père et Fils Brut NV (Gold), Lanson Black Label Brut NV, Magnum (Gold), Lanson 2004 Gold Label, Magnum (Gold), Lanson 2008 Gold Label Brut Vintage 2008 (Gold), Lanson Rose Label Brut Rosé NV, Magnum (Silver) and Lanson White Label Sec NV, Magnum (Silver).
For 256 years, the House of Lanson and its expert winemakers (and now with new Chef de Caves Hervé Dantan), have been crafting fine Champagne the traditional way. Established in 1760 it remains consistent to the disciplines and heritage that only a family-run ever Champagne House can offer.
