Christmas family break
When it comes to Christmas markets, South West Germany is hard to beat. Baroque and Medieval palaces provide enchanting backdrops to intricately decorated wooden stalls. There’s no better way to get into the spirit of Christmas than spending a day with the family browsing the artisan gifts and locally-made toys, before relaxing with a cup of warm mulled wine and enjoying baked apples and tasty freshly baked gingerbread cookies.
Stuttgart Markets is one of the largest Christmas markets in Europe and also one of the oldest, dating back 300 years. Stuttgart Market is held from 23 November to 23 December 2016.
