The promoter of the prize draw is Specsavers Optical Group Limited (‘Specsavers’), La Villiaze, St Andrews, Guernsey, GY6 8YP. The provider of the prize is Valencia Tourism Foundation, Avda. Cortes Valencianas, 41 – 46015 Valencia. The prize draw is open to all United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Republic of Ireland residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Valencia Tourism Foundation, Specialist Publications Ltd, Specsavers and their respective families. Entries must be made electronically on the above website form only. A maximum of one entry per person is permitted. No purchase is necessary. The closing date for entry into the competition is midnight on 31 March 2017 (‘Closing Date’). Entries submitted after the Closing Date will not be included in the draw. The draw will be made on 17 April 2017. A winner will be selected at random from all entries received by the Closing Date, using a random-number generator. The winner will be contacted after 17 April 2017 via e-mail or telephone and will be given 14 days to respond. If the response deadline is missed, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. No cash or other prize alternatives will be offered. The prize is non-transferable. The promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for similar alternatives of equal or greater value. The winner’s name can be obtained upon request in writing from: Valencia prize, Specsavers Magazine, PO Box 767, Bristol, BS8 1SB, from 1 May 2017. The prize is subject to availability, and must be taken between 17 April 2017 and 22 December 2017 inclusive (excluding the Valencia Marathon weekend estimated 18-19 November 2017, and when the MOTO GP takes place at the end of October or early November) or the prize will be withdrawn. After the winner accepts the prize with Specavers, Valencia Tourism will contact the winner directly to book accommodation. Flights will be booked separately by Specialist UK once accommodation has been confirmed. The prize includes five nights’ in the 4-star Hotel Alameda with breakfast each morning, a three course evening meal at a Michelin-starred restaurant (excluding alcoholic drinks), a half-day paella cooking masterclass, a guided tour of the city and two 72-hour Valencia Cards. Direct economy return flights for two from London Stanstead or London Gatwick airports to Valencia are included subject to availability. Return flights from Dublin via the UK are included for residents of the ROI. Return flights to the UK from the Channel Islands and Isle of Man are not included and must be covered by the winner if they are resident in the Channel Islands or Isle of Man. Travel to and from the airport in the UK or ROI is not included. In order to claim the prize, the winner and their guest may be required to agree to additional terms and conditions of the airline and/or tour operator associated with their travel to, or stay in, Valencia (T&Cs of Travel). Specsavers shall have no liability to the winner or any third party for any inability of the winner to claim the prize, or to take the full benefit of it, as a result of any of the T&Cs of Travel or any other reason. Travel insurance and visas, any necessary vaccinations, valid passports, spending money, departure and arrival taxes and any other personal expenses are the winner’s responsibility. Specsavers shall not be liable to entrants for: (i) any losses, damages or costs incurred or suffered as a result of the entrants entering the prize-draw promotion; (ii) acceptance or use of any element of the prize won in connection with the promotion; (iii) failure by the promoter to act in accordance with any promotion laws, rules and regulations; (iv) and/or failure by the promoter to deliver any element of the prize. This prize draw and these terms and conditions are governed by and subject to English Law and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
