a holiday in Tennessee
Each year, the Jack Daniel distillery hosts a barbecue cook-off in its home town of Lynchburg.
This year's takes place on Sunday, October 24, with teams from all over the world flying in to compete. Visitors can expect a homemade pie auction, Boston Butt bowling, live music and of course lots of great food.
Flying out on October 20, the winner and their guest (who must both be over 21) will have the chance to soak up the atmosphere in Nashville, the home of country and western, and enjoy some real southern hospitality.
As well as spending Sunday at the Barbecue Championships they will tour the Jack Daniel's Distillery, sample the world famous Whiskey in a private tasting, enjoy lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's Boarding House and join the judges and competitors at an exclusive pre- championship party on Barbecue Hill.
Made using the distinctively mellow taste of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, the Jack Daniel's Barbecue Sauce range is perfect for adding a taste of Tennessee to any dish and comes in four flavours including the new Smokey Sweet Glaze
