King’s Shilling Tankard
The King’s Shilling tankard for Father’s Day 18 June. This has a double glazed bottom with a genuine King’s Shilling, which dates from the reign of King George V or VI, sandwiched between the layers.
The story of the press gangs is pressed deep into one side with a blank panel on the reverse. The press gangs would pay their recruits a shilling to join the Royal Navy and would often have got them drunk to sign up.
We’re sure you’ll give it the respect it deserves.
The capacity of the tankard is 570ml (1 pint) and it weighs 430g.
To be in with a chance to win this memorable King’s Shilling tankard simply answer the following three questions:
1. What is the name of the cruise ship to start the 2017 season from Portsmouth International Port?
2. What is the theme for National Ferry Fortnight this year?
3. What is the subject of the new exhibition display in the terminal at Portsmouth International Port?

2. Ferry Together
