It’s almost fifty years since man first stepped on the Moon – and the next planet to explore is Mars!

But getting there isn’t easy, especially not for humans, so the European Space Agency are developing robots that can be sent into space to check out the planet for us!

There’s a new series of Deep Space High taking a look at how these Mars Rovers are built and what important stuff you have to think about when sending robots into space.

You can hear Deep Space High – Mission to Mars weekdays from 5pm on Fun Kids Radio!

What is Mars also known as…?

A. Blue Planet
B. Pink Planet
C. Red Planet >>>Suggested answer
