The skiing is superb. Framed by towering peaks, Obergurgl’s pistes rise to 3,000 metres and are among the most snowsure in Europe. Sledging, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are also on offer. And you’ll find great views of the Italian Dolomites and the Otz Valley from the Top Mountain Star restaurant, at 3,082 metres.

For those who are worried that Milan may have crept northwards into Austria, the above Sunday Times comp has not completely removed details of their prize from last week which (you've guessed it) was a holiday in Milan. I've PM'ed Andy.
