The winner and a guest will stay for two nights at Northcote, in Lancashire, the AA’s Hotel of the Year — England, 2016. Set in the Ribble Valley, Northcote is an independent country-house hotel whose restaurant has held a Michelin star for 20 years. Chef-patron Nigel Haworth guides the kitchen, and the prize includes two dinners for two: a five-course Gourmet Menu, including coffee and half a bottle of Louis Roederer champagne, and an à la carte meal (to a maximum value of £140).
