Rules:
1. NAME OF COMPETITION: "25 Days of Christmas on Gold" Competition
2. METHOD OF ENTRY AND COMPETITION QUESTION:
From 1 December to 25 December 2014 Gold will be giving away one prize per day, courtesy of Homebase. Competition entry is via the Gold website, goldtv.co.uk/Christmas (the "website").
Every day is a new competition question and prize - there are 25 different questions and prizes in total. The question and prize of the day will be clearly stated in the online entry page.
Gold will manage entrants and pick 25 winners at random. The Competition Winners' details will be provided to Homebase/fulfilment house who will carry out contact, fulfilment and delivery of prizes to all Competition Winners.

3. PRIZE:
There will be 25 prize winners (each a "Winner").
The prizes shall consist of the below (each a "Prize"):

The prizes are being fulfilled by Homebase and not UKTV.
No alternative prize will be given and the Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. However, UKTV reserves the right to change the Prize due to circumstances beyond its control or to offer an alternative prize of similar value.
Each Winner agrees to absolve UKTV from any liability that may result from or is claimed to have resulted from participating in the Competition or from the acceptance or use of the Prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions in any way limits the Promoter (or any other person or organisation's) liability for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
It is your responsibility to pay any and all applicable taxes which may be due on prizes, to assess whether the Prizes are suitable for you and to read and comply with any safety notices or instruction manuals delivered with any Prize.
4. SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS:
All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and a legal resident in the UK.
All entrants must have the internet service or mobile device bill payer's permission prior to entering.
In some circumstances, winners may need to ensure that they have room in their home to receive certain prizes e.g. Smeg fridge. Winners will need to dispose of any redundant appliances (if necessary) in the appropriate manner. UKTV will not take responsibility.
Employees of UKTV and any company associated with this Competition and their families are expressly forbidden from entering the Competition.
5. COMPETITION PERIOD:
The Competitions will be open between December 1, 2014 at 12am and December 25, 2014 at 11:59pm.
Each daily Competition will close at 11:59pm on the day of that Competition.
Any entries received outside of the Competition Period (for whatever reason) will be invalid but you may still be charged for the entry where costs apply.
6. WINNER SELECTION:
The Winners will be selected at random at the end of the Competition Period from all correct and eligible entries received. Winner selection by UKTV is final and no correspondence will be entered into whatsoever regarding Winner selection.
The Winner must claim the Prize by successfully responding to the Promoter's notification by email or telephone within 14 days of the Promoter's first notification being sent. Failure to successfully claim the relevant prize within the timeline stipulated may result in the prize being forfeited and an alternate winner being selected on these terms and conditions, who may have a shorter period of time to claim the prize.
7. METHOD OF ENTRY & COST:
You can enter this Competition free of charge on the Website as per the process described in section 2.
8. ENTRY LIMITATIONS:
Only one entry per person is allowed and in the case of multiple entries, only the original entry will be counted. Any automated entries made by a 'bot' or by using any similar automated third party programme to submit multiple entries will be grounds for immediate disqualification. Where a Winner has been selected and UKTV discovers or has reasonable grounds to believe that Winner has used a 'bot' or similar third party software to submit multiple entries, UKTV shall have the absolute discretion to select an alternative winner. Any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these terms and conditions.
9. PROMOTER:
This Competition is offered to you by UK New Ventures Limited ("UKTV"), company number 04266373. Our registered office is at 10 Hammersmith Grove, London W6 7AP.

10. PRIZE PROVIDER:
Homebase Limited is the Prize Provider. Homebase Limited will contact the Winners and deliver the Prizes within the period stated above, subject to these terms and conditions.
11. PUBLICITY:
Entry to the Competition gives UKTV the right, without separate consent or compensation, to publicise any Winners' names and counties and to make further use of these in printed publications and on the Internet solely for administering this Competition in accordance with applicable law.
12. LAW AND JURISDICTION:
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
