Dickinson & Morris pork pies have been lovingly baked in Leicestershire for over 160 years. They are one of only a handful of world-famous Melton Mowbray pork pies, which were granted PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) status in 2009. Made with 100% British pork and encased in a classic hot water crust pastry, this is pork pie expertise as its best.
As with all Melton Mowbray pork pies, they are traditionally baked without a supporting tin, which gives the classic bow-sided shape we all know and love. Dickinson & Morris also ensures there are no preservatives, flavour enhancers nor hydrogenated fats used in their pies.
Natural bone stock jelly is added to the pies after baking to enhance the natural pork flavour and to give a succulent texture when eaten.
As you bite into your Dickinson & Morris pork pie there is a crunch of the pastry, followed by the tender and rich pork filling. These are quite simply pork pies as they should be.
Individual, six pack minis and large family pies are available in most major supermarkets and are priced from £1.30.
