The site opened in February 2012 and boasts newly-designed cabins that contain upgraded kitchens featuring the latest integrated kitchen appliances. The master bedroom has huge floor-to-ceiling window ensuring incredible views for you whilst lying in bed, accompanied by a stunning en-suite bathroom.

Golden Oak cabins also have the best mod cons including a log-burning stove, Wii games console, flatscreen TV and DVD. Additional features include an outdoor hot tub on a private veranda with smart outdoor furniture.

This peaceful site is in the heart of Sherwood Forest where its natural character is preserved and nurtured for future generations by the Forestry Commission. Wake up in beautiful natural surroundings, stand on your own private veranda and see the flora and fauna unique to each location in their natural habitat. You can enjoy a guided walk through the forest with a ranger or hire bikes to explore the stunning woodland setting. The prize is worth up to £1,600.

The prize is for up to 6 people in a Golden Oak cabin at the new Sherwood Forest site on a self-catering basis. The holiday must be taken by 15/12/2012, excluding August, and is subject to availability. The prize does not include travel, additional expenses and spending money.
