Win a seven-night jungle adventure for two in Costa Rica
National Geographic Traveller (UK) has teamed up with Costa Rica Tourism Board to offer one lucky reader the chance to win an incredible seven-night jungle adventure for two!
Costa Rica is a year-round tropical destination that’s home to around 5% of the world’s biodiversity — an abundance of unique wildlife and landscapes.
With two coastlines — the Pacific Ocean on the west and the Caribbean Sea on the east — as well as rainforests, cloudforests, volcanoes and breath-taking beaches, Costa Rica’s diversity of landscapes, microclimates and natural wonders provides visitors with unlimited experiences.
From sloths to monkeys, jaguars to frogs, the wildlife-spotting options are seemingly endless. Flora and fauna are an integral of any trip to Costa Rica. Tortuguero National Park is especially famous for being the location for annual sea turtle nesting, while the natural canals here abound with protected species such as crocodiles, manatees and otters.
Adventure lovers will be in their element here, as they discover whitewater rafting, snorkelling and diving, kayaking, zip-lining, hiking, sport fishing and surfing, to name a few activities — boredom is not an option!
Costa Rica’s geography means there are no clearly defined seasons — every region has its own microclimate, making it a truly year-round destination. The sea is always warm, with average temperatures of around 26-27C.
