Fancy staying at one of the hotels that featured in Condé Nast Traveller's Gold List 2011? We've teamed up with the five-star Jumeirah Carlton Tower, London to do help you do just that.

In celebration of their 50th birthday, the hotel is offering CNTraveller.com readers the chance to win a one-night stay in a Deluxe Room. The winner will also taste '1961 Cocktails' in the Gilt champagne bar, and a receive a copy of the specially commissioned book, 'All That Life Can Afford', which captures 50 years of the extraordinary history of the hotel since it first opened in 1961.

The fabulous Gilt Cocktail Lounge promises the ultimate in sophistication and glamour, and is the perfect place to start the evening in London. And the hotel will organise complimentary samples of their '1961 Cocktail', based on a classic champagne cocktail that has been enhanced with 1961 Armagnac and topped with Pommery Champagne.

The winner and their guest will then enjoy a night in a luxurious Deluxe Room - a beautifully appointed, comfortable and generously-sized guestroom featuring a luxurious bathroom with separate walk-in shower and deep soaking tub. Breakfast is also included.

When did the Jumeirah Carlton Tower first open?
1961
