Win a tree-spirited short-break adventure in The National Forest
To celebrate the huge variety of things there are to see and do in The National Forest, we are offering a fantastic prize of a four night stay for up to four people in one of Rosliston Forestry Centre’s timber lodges.
Rosliston Forestry Centre was the first visitor centre to open in The National Forest and a short break amongst the maturing woodlands is a perfect way to explore and enjoy all that the Forest has to offer.
Each of the six light and airy, comfortable lodges is set within its own secluded plot. Here, children and adults alike can enjoy free range fun in the natural play areas, walk the tree myth trail or get close to our feathered friends in the bird hide. Cycling, fishing, archery, orienteering and falconry are all available to pre-book on site, and you can walk part of the National Forest Way long distance trail as it passes through the Forestry Centre woodlands. There’s so much to do: make sure you take time out to relax and enjoy the trees and the birdsong!
How long is the National Forest Way?
ANSWER: B) 75 miles
Spot a wealth of wildlife while walking part of the 75-mile National Forest Way or head off-road on woodland cycle trails.
