Win a weekend in Bristol and a cycling tour
A sister to The Kensington and Marylebone Hotels, The Bristol Hotel is located on the city's waterfront in the Harbour Quarter, a short walk from galleries, shops, restaurants and bars. With its subtle style and local, seasonal dining options, it offers a comfortable spot from which to experience the second most populous city in South West England, and the European Green Capital 2015. Sticking with the eco-friendly theme, local company Cycle the City is set to launch green-themed tours on vintage bikes next year too.
We are giving away a two-night weekend stay in a deluxe room, dinner in The River Grille restaurant, cream tea in the River Lounge, access to the resident-only gym, a bottle of bubbly on arrival and two spots on the new Green Heritage cycling tour.
Where in Bristol will you find a West Country Porker?
ANSWER: Arch House Delihttp://www.cntraveller.com/recommended/uk/best-of-bristol/page/shopping-in-bristol
Stroll through the cobbled streets of Clifton village, just past The Albion pub, and you will come across the Arch House Deli, a dreamy little place with windows crammed full of chutneys, olive oils and jams. It sells everything you could possibly require for a picnic on the nearby Downs, including Italian antipasti, cheese, wine and ready-made hampers. There is also a little café inside if the contents of the shop are so hard to resist you can't help sampling them. Order one of the deli sandwiches; my favourite is the West Country Porker
