Enjoy three plates of yakiniku meats with a traditional DIY charcoal "shichirin" barbecue and two cocktails each at Sakagura, an authentic Japanese restaurant in Mayfair
There's a sense of ritual to Japanese cuisine that you won't find anywhere else in the world. From the act of taking tea to pouring sake, there's no denying that Japanese culture demands nothing but precision and perfection.
Perhaps this is why London loves Japanese food so much. In a city as bustling and busy as our country's capital, sitting down to structure and routine can make for a refreshing break from the everyday chaos of London life.
For this reason, we've teamed up with Sakagura, an authentic Japanese restaurant in Mayfair, so that you can sit back, relax and experience the very best of Japanese hospitality, alongside the highest-quality food. Winners will have the chance to try their hands at cooking the finest yakiniku meat (wet-aged in specialist Japanese kuraban fridges) over a traditional charcoal shichirin barbecue, while sipping on a choice of two cocktails each from Sakagura's expertly crafted drinks menu.
