Win a Year's Free Study Prize Draw Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions:
The prize is one year's free study with The Open University worth up to £5000. The competition closes at 10.00am on May 8th 2012. The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received and notified by 5.00pm on May 10th 2012. Usual Metro Promotional Rules apply (see metro.co.uk/win). The Editor's decision is final. The promoter is Metro, 2 Derry Street, London W8 5TT.
The prize is to study with The Open University up to the value of £5000 which equates to UK full –time undergraduate equivalent study for 1 year. If part-time study is selected there will be no reimbursement if the study value less than £5000.
Study can either be at undergraduate level or postgraduate level.
Study can only be commenced after 1st October 2012 and it must be completed by 31st December 2013.
The OU reserves the right to exclude any of it's modules from the prize. Apart from that the prize can be redeemed against any modules up the maximum value stated. Standard OU terms and conditions regarding OU modules (including the criteria to study) apply. The competition winner must discuss the module(s) of their choice with an OU Student Services Representative to ensure its level and workload is suitable for the individual.
The prize draw winner must confirm the module(s) of their choice no later than 06/09/2012 following that advice from the OU Student Services Representative.
Upon registration as a student on the chosen module (s), the winner will be bound by standard OU student terms and conditions.
The OU will have no liability or responsibility to the prize winner except as set out in the standard OU student terms and conditions.
By entering the competition, you automatically agree to receive further communications from the OU about its products and services.
The competition winner agrees to be contacted by the OU to partake in any publicity in relation to this competition.
No cash alternative is available, the prize is non-transferable and can be taken only by the competition winner.
The competition winner must pay for all other costs related to study with the OU eg travel, accommodation, additional study materials and equipment etc.
The prize draw is open to UK residents only and the prize is not available to non-UK residents.
After the free modules have been completed, it is the responsibility of the winner to pay for and organise further study requirements.
There is only one prize available.
Only one entry per person is allowed.
The Prize is being made available by the OU for the competition which is being run by [The Metro]. The prize will be awarded by The Open University. Any enquiries about the competition or these terms and conditions should be made to Metro.
