=========================================================
We’ve teamed up with Orange to offer you the chance to win six must-read books from the 2012 Orange Prize for Fiction shortlist and latest Sony Ericsson handset.
One lucky winner will receive a set of the six shortlisted books plus a Sony Xperia S handset worth over £400, available on Orange. That is not all, one runner up will also win the compete Orange Prize shortlist!
Question:
Which author was one of last years Orange prize for fiction winners?
J K Rowling
Jilly Cooper
Rose Tremain
My answer: Rose Tremain
NOTES:
I originally thought the question was who won the prize in 2011 but it was not any of those 3 ladies, it was Tea Obreht. Also there is only 1 winner each year, the question implies more. So I have come to the conclusion that the question is supposed to mean who has won it previously and out of the 3 that is Rose Treman in 2008.
See http://www.orangeprize.co.uk/archive2011.html 3rd paragraph after the heading 'The tiger's wife' for list of previous winners.
