One of 4 Lynx Boom Boom Driver each worth £249
We’ve teamed up with British brand Lynx to give you the chance to win one of its latest Boom Boom 3 drivers. Lynx has put up four drivers as top prizes, each worth £249.
Major winners Freddie Couples and Ernie Els both played Lynx during their careers, and the British-owned brand is firmly back on the scene with a range of top equipment and player endorsements that stretch from Nick Dougherty to Tony Jacklin and the legendary Laura Davies.
The Boom Boom is a titanium-headed 460cc driver that’s been designed to max out ball speeds by using hi-tech internal gas technology. Forgiveness is no after-thought either, with a low and deep weight screw maximising MOI and ball speed retention on off-centre hits.
The Boom Boom’s HOT1 technology uses a mixture of gasses inside its head to increase pressure behind the club face. The extra pressure is said to deliver faster face flex to maximise ball speeds and carry distance. Lynx’s engineers have also studied the kinetic energy created at impact and designed an “Effective Energy Transfer” club face for the Boom Boom which they say is better equipped to efficiently transfer club
energy to the back of the ball.
Each Boom Boom comes with a top spec Aldila RIP’d NV shaft along with a dual compound grip to heighten feel. We have two 10.5° regular flex and two 9° stiff drivers to give away.
