Two lucky winners will each win a two-night stay for two at the relaxing Lakeside Hotel, a privately-owned, luxury four-star hotel situated right on the shores of Windermere’s southernmost tip. The oldest parts of the building date back to the 18th century, and the hotel boasts an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary styles and the attentive, yet relaxed, hospitality that is unfortunately all too rare nowadays.
The two-AA Rosette Lakeview restaurant serves classic and Cumbrian dishes redeveloped in house. John Ruskin’s Brasserie serves individual traditional dishes and “plats du jour” in modern surroundings with a bustling service. The Lakeview conservatory and terrace are the perfect location for an informal lunch or Lakeland afternoon tea.
Breakfast and three-course dinner is included on both nights – one night in John Ruskin’s Brasserie and the other night in the Lakeview restaurant. The two winners and their guests can also enjoy full use of the pool, spa, steam room, sauna and gym. The 17-metre indoor pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym are exclusively for hotel residents and the UK’s only Aveda destination spa offers treatments seven days a week following Aveda’s unique philosophies in the art and science of plant essences.
