Afrovibes Festival comes to the UK for the first time this September, with a host of South African theatre and dance productions

WIN a pair of tickets to one performance of two South African productions coming to London as part of the Afrovibes Festival this October.
A Face Like Mine is a Grahamstown premiere from the Baxter Theatre exploring the fragmented perceptions of black femininity. The piece delves into complex questions about culture and identity observing the subtle relations and tensions between black women and white men. Starring Asanda Phewa.

Ncamisa! Kiss the women is a one woman play exploring the fallout of being a lesbian in Khayelitsha Township, on the outskirts of Cape Town. Directed by Peter Hayes and performed by Pam Ngwabeni, this play depicts a world of light living and deep passion, casual violence and serious relationships, woven together with soccer and song.

A Face Like Mine followed by Ncamisa! Kiss the Women shows on Saturday 9 October at 7pm & 8.15pm or Sunday 10 October at 6pm & 7.15pm.
