well I finally got my upgrade disk from dell and after reading how to install it online everyone reccomended I do a clean install which I did, the problem is ive got windows 7 installed finally looks good but now my recovery drive is practically full and wont allow me to install or add any files kee more...

1. Is it a good laptop for the price?
2. Are DSG refurbs OK?
3. Does it have HDMI
4. Does 'dolby home theatre' mean it has good speakers on it (which I really need)?

I was wondering if i could put some kind of password protection on it, so people can't just unplug it from my laptop, plug it into their laptop and view the files on it

Missus old laptop (Toshiba Portege M100) had a nice loud clunking noise last night and sounded like the hdd died. It's not rebooting past the Toshiba logo stage now so methinks it's time for a new drive.

Normally can do this kinda stuff ok, but just tried to set up the network with these and it didn't work. They seem to have all their lights green etc, but when I click on my network connections, it is sending packets but not receiving them.

I've plugged it in ok - pretty sure - plugged into wall at more...

I have cfw 5.50 m33 is there a later one as a few games aren't working, looked on google but cant find one

I was copying files from a SD card to a Micro SDHC card (with USB adaptor) on a Vista pc....basically the copying process froze....

I am now left with a wiped 4gb Micro SDHC card with 0 bytes...

I have tried to format the card but i get "there is no media in the specified device" error.

Any ideas more...
