Xbox360 Elite/Halo3/Forza2/Extra wireless controller £262.70 using Virgin credit card

Yesterday, Saturday 24/11/07 I saw a Xbox360 elite deal advertised at the front of the Zavvi entertainment group store, which was for the above mentioned items. The price advertised was £300.
I thought about the Virgin credit card discount scheme, 10% off, so I enquired and was told that I could have the discount on top of the advertised deal price. I expected to pay £270 great deal in itself.
I was suprised to be charged £262.70

On inspetion of my receipt I found the following:

Halo 3 £40
Wep pack - Forz 3 £33
Xbox 360 Elite £300
Total £373
Coupons £73

Total £300
Discount 10.0 £37.30-
Dicount code: 13
Virgin credit card
Total £262.70

A bargain in my opinion, I thought I'd share it just in case anyone agrees.

I've got a big 0% debt on my virgin card. Anyone know if I buy this using it would the debt all revert to the normal interest rate???

So Zavvi still honour the 10% discount? I wasn't sure if they would...looks like they actually gave you a discount before deducting the coupon value, hence the larger 10% discount. Nice, I've got an Elite on order with Virgin but they've not dispatched it, might pop into Zavvi in town and see if they've got any in stock.

YEs it will DONT do it i did and it blows. you will have to clear the balance first
