I think I might go for this one. I was tempted by HMV with the use of their store card 10% off thingy and also £15 in vouchers (toward a game).
As detailed here by Babbler, a few posts down.

But this, with a £32.99 game from play.com will only be slightly more expensive, but with a lot less hassel.

...Plus 3.5% quidco too

Thanks.

Depends on stock, I rekon they'll be a shortage. So you could potentionally make money, but personally I think that is out of order buying stock, and making the price hike up when you dont intend on actually owning one.

Your call though...

Well indications are that Ninty are producing enough Wiis to meet retail demand, so I doubt the prices wil go as high as £500 on eBay.

(To compare, they have produced 4 millions wiis as opposed to Sony's 2 million PS3s).

Here are the stats I got from a friend (approximate)

Last year each (specialist) store had an average of 15 to 20 xbox 360's
This year stores will get an average of 50 per store (wiis). Twice the amount of xbox's. Doesnt mean there wont be demand though as when I pre-ordered my wii FROM hmv on the 4th day of availability I was 14th in queue. Checked last week and there were already 45 people queued...

The game pre-order list in my local store had 5 pages of A4 of people when i checked... hit and miss really and I want one so not bothered!

HMV still the best "in store" deal and I wanted to guarantee getting one - online can be hit and miss...

Tomcool, did you have yours cancel or know someone who did? I was going to buy mine through this, but there's no point if it's going to cancel.

Hope they put a wristband on that. I can see myself throwing it at the tv by accident, esp. the baseball game

That would be one for the insurers.
Claim: new tv and Wii controller.
Reason: eating chips with fingers and playing nintendo!

Edit: Nevermind, I see they do have wristband
