Can I re-download all my singstar songs for free if I upgrade HDD?
#3
am I reading this correctly, can it be put into a ps3 to increase from the current 60Gb that I have installed now.....

Also, do I lose the backwards compatability that I currently have......and how do I install the software that is currently on the machine.

Theres a backup program in the PS3 machine ...

Settings ...System Settings ...Backup Utlity .....

select Backup and its asks if you want to back up to other storage device .. so you will need to put in a external hdd or large flash pen ...

Then just reverse the process to Restore ..

Is the 5400rpm speed an issue? If I were to get a new hard disk I would go for a 10,000+rpm, as this will help to lower slowdown in any games. I'm pretty sure this has been confirmed by Sony.

Good price though, but for the reason above I have voted neither hot or cold.

If youa re going to use your Hard Drive in a PS3 it needs to run at 5400rpm - if you try and use a faster drive, you may have problems.

I have this drive in my PS3. It runs silent and is more than fast enough to run 14MB's 1080p backed-up HD-DVD media on. It saves having to have an external usb drive plugged in and looking ugly next to your lovely PS3. Great for laptops also.

HOT for less than £60.
