You can get a UK one really easily now. It seems Nintendo were limiting supply before the end of their financial year (end of march) and are now restocking stores constantly. If you go onto the game website they have them instock 24 hours a day now, and if you dont want the games that come with the bundle just return them for a refund.

Voted cold because it's barely any cheaper. Buying an adaptor will bump the price up a couple of quid anyway. If it goes wrong there will be major hassle and delays getting it fixed. And last but not least, as someone has already pointed out, they aren't too hard to come by in th UK now.

if you don't mind me asking, where can you get that bundle as cheap in Uk at the moment?

Agreed, thats what I did. Return the games still sealed and take a copy of their T&Cs in and they don't have a leg to stand on. I returned the four games which were bundled with my Wii for a full refund. DONT LET THEM FOB YOU OFF WITH TRADE IN PRICES!

Erm you can get it cheaper than that in the UK, if you go to a Virgin Megastore with a student friend they can get a 10% discount card which makes it £162 exactly (I know I bought one for a friend).

Virgin seem to be getting them quite regulaly now, the one near me gets em every week at present.

So you get a receipt with the wii and games and it's seperately in line? I mean that does it show: "Wii, Game 1, Game 2" instead of "Wii bundle"?

thought i'd bump this up as wii's are hard to find at the moment. i have been trying to buy one and have been into various shops - Woolies, i'm 140th on the list, game i'm 255th on the list.

anyway i came across the reference to Amazon.de at http://www.wiipreorder.co.uk/

they give straight forward instructions on how to buy and where to get the adapter plug (which from B&Q is only £1)

i've ordered and hopefully averything will be ok

i've voted this HOT

Care to post a link? The only online places I can find are Amazon UK marketplace, eBay, MicroDirect and Debenhams. All of which are profiteering pretty badly by shoving £40-£50 on to the basic price.

ordered two yesterday from amazon.de got a dispatch note today.
Voted hot because we hunted high and low to get one from the uk to no avail and I wouldnt be surprised if it gets more difficult towards xmas. :santa:
Guess its a case of wait and see for extra stock in the UK.

as posted by the OP, if you use amazon.co.uk you can use your same login details this basically makes the order process a breeze.

Ive never had a problem returning anything to amazon UK so I cant see it would be a problem in the unlikely event id have to return to DE (Ok maybe extra postage)

Cheers!
