I get very bad hayfever, but very randomly. Has anyone used one of these things before or can recommend it? And is it just light or does it use some kind of vapour or anything else you might have to refill? Thanks.

nope..just a light...like having 2 red LED's rammed up your nostrils basically...your nose glows in the dark ROFL

HOT for this model though

Do work though but you can get Lloyds own brand for about £15 I think

I have it - bought it direct and cost me about 60 quid. Seems to work pretty well - tend to use it with medication but it does have a difference. Recommended to fellow sufferers.

I'm a bit dubious about these things, I bought a device for the missues' migraines, in short, she might as well have gone to a super hardcore rave and stood in front of the fecking lasers! These brought on a migraine not help her get over one! I sent the "Disco specs" right back to Amazon

can only say is it worked for my son and oh, i perfer this to them keep taking tablets and with my son tablets didnt always work

I'm guessing this only sorts out the runny itchy nose bit, not the itchy eyes and other symptoms?
#11
This worked very well for my son and fairly well for my wife (would probably have worked better if she had used it regularly as advised......) - I paid about £50 for this exact model a couple of years ago so a good deal.

However, last summer a friend got the Lloyds Pharmacy version for £14.95 and that worked well for him so if there is no real difference between the two then the Lloyds version is obviously better value.

This sorted the symptoms for my son. The release of histamine which causes all the problems is reduced by the red light so in theory it should work on all the related symptoms.

To all the hayfever sufferers out there.... Give it a go!

I used to have very bad hayfever during the summer. Most of the tablets out there don't work for me. I have to combine Flixonase, Tears Natural eye drops and Benedryl Acrivastine 3 times a day (not even the Benedryl One A Day work) . 2 years ago, desperately trying to find a way to ease my misery, I found this product. Managed to get it for £45 from eBay. Used it 3 times a day for a week and all the symptoms just slowly went away. I thought was just my imagination at first, but for the whole summer for 2 years, I have been able to go out and enjoy the sun. Save me money as well because those pills that I used to take are not cheap.

I am not sure if the Lloyds one will work as good as the Medinose, but one difference that I found is that the Medinose diodes are replaceable (not cheap though) but the Lloyds one isn't. And the built quality for both model are obviously different, but I don't think it matters too much if they both work the same.

My Doctor won't allow me to have this injection anymore as he said it has been banned. Have you been asked to stop using it? I had it for 10 years and it relieved most of my symptoms for a couple of months.

I have tried the Lloyds pharmacy version of medinose but it didn't work for me sadly...I used it with hayfever tablets.

If the machine works it's a bargain.

A similar deal was posted yesterday and there are plenty of comments about how well this works there http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/311399/medisana-medinose-plus-nasal-allerg/.

I've had really severe hayfever all my life, had every injection and drug going to no effect until this, which worked brilliantly. Last three years have been almost completely free of all symptoms.

I paid £80 a few years back and would have paid ten times that.

As i suffer from sinisitus i bought the one from Lloyds and i found that it helps me.

Well I got one of these for my Xmas from my mum and just started using it last night - I've used it three times in total now - each time I put the prongs up my nose I immediately start sneezing and my nose starts to run....

Maybe I got the battery polarity around the wrong way and this gives you the effects of Hay Fever  (yes I'm being sarcastic for those of you with a sarcasm filter built in)

Still it's early days yet - I'll be using this every day now that the hay fever season is upon us and I'll report back with objective advice - for the record nothing works for me so far other than avoiding pollen or living in tropical climates :whistling:
